We're blown away with the support we've received (17,974 backers!), and we are thrilled so many of you share our vision for unusual timepieces. Thank you again for making this project a reality!

What happens now?

Kickstarter starts a two-week process of collecting the funds for pledges. During this time, we'll get to work creating the survey. The survey is what allows you to pick your watch model and color based on the pledge you made. You will receive an email from backerkit.com (the service we are using to manage pledges) with the final survey soon after Kickstarter completes the funding process.

In this final survey, you will provide your shipping and contact information, make your final selections based on the reward you pledged for, and grab any add-ons that you wanted. You will also have the ability to get exclusive Kickstarter-only pricing on additional straps, previous Xeric watch models, and travel boxes, as well as be able to add faster shipping options.

For now, we've already begun the production phase and we'll keep you updated on the progress in the coming weeks. If you or anyone you know missed this campaign, there will still be a chance to preorder on www.xeric.com.

Pledge Declined?

If your pledge was declined, log in to Kickstarter and click the “Fix Payment” button in the banner at the top of your screen. This will guide you through the process of changing or retrying your payment method. Kickstarter will also send you an email every 48 hours with a direct link to correct the issue. But don't delay: backers have seven days to resolve payment issues before they're dropped from the project. Kickstarter will also automatically retry your pledge at the end of this timeframe.

It may not necessarily be the case that there’s a specific issue with your card, so much as that you’ll need to ask your bank why this charge in particular is being declined. You may also want to include the details of this transaction, such as:

• The charge being from Kickstarter
• The amount pledged for the project
• The date when Kickstarter attempted to collect your pledge (This was the date that the project ended)
• Additionally, it may be helpful to request that your bank "whitelist" any charges from Kickstarter

Once you’ve contacted your bank, feel free to log into your Kickstarter account and click the “Fix Payment” button in the “Important Notifications” banner.

$2 Million Upgrade: Apollo 11 Commemorative Rotor Revealed

We've received great feedback from you all about the automatic caseback and are thrilled to reveal the upgraded Apollo 11 Mission Patch rotor that will replace the previous version. This improved rotor comes at no additional cost to our backers and will not affect our delivery timeline.

Custom Apollo 11 Mission Patch Rotor

Hello everyone,

You guys are awesome. Funded in under 5 minutes and steadily climbing through the stratosphere! $500K. Wow! Thank you for the incredible support. Since we've surpassed our funding goal, we've started production of the major components so we can get these watches to you as early as possible.

Now for more good news! Over the past two years we've been working on an additional limited edition model that is truly out of this world, and we're excited to share it with you. 

We've added a new reward for this Limited Edition Meteorite Trappist-1 NASA Automatic. Only 500 will ever be made. Each dial is cut from an actual meteorite that is nearly 4.5 billion years old and made its journey to earth all the way from the Asteroid Belt. This material is extremely rare and typically used on luxury watches like Rolex, Omega, and Jaeger-LeCoultre. Each dial is one-of-a-kind due to the unique lattice structures. These will be available on Kickstarter at the early bird price of $500. If they don't sell out, they'll be available post-campaign on Xeric.com for $800. 

If you'd like to secure this ultimate limited edition, there are a two ways to do it.

Option 1: (if you want more than one watch): You can keep your current reward and just click Manage my Pledge, increase your pledge by $500 and we'll manually add the Meteorite model during the post-campaign survey.

Option 2: Click Manage my Pledge at the top of the campaign page and then select the new Meteorite reward.
